MOODZ Restaurant & Wine bar, a new Design restaurant featuring European cuisine in the heart of the trendy upscale Thonglor neighbourhood
Story by Laurence Civil

The location is perfect at the heart of the bustling, buzzing nightline zone. Moodz dares to break the stereotype Thonglor dinning mould and puts a bold stamp in the dinning map with its own unique personality. Brian Kent Sherman of the celebrated Bensley Design Studio has created a feel reminiscent of cosy beach club daringly set in the heart of the sit. Out on the deck overlooking the street from a safe distance is the casual lounge area to graze, sip and chill. Moving inside a slightly more formal dining room with the subtle combination of wood and turquoise successfully combined in the décor compliment by a bold and colourful art pieces evoking the vibrancy of the Age of Jazz.
There is a comfortably professional fell to the ambiance, the synergy of the creative talents of business executive, a hospitality expert, a renowned designer and a chef. Collectively the have addressed all aspects of the total dining experience.
it’s modern casual dinning, retaining the must have core elements of refined dining but comfortably delivered. The menu is intelligently presented with dishes grouped in categories of almost raw, warm, tossed, in between, entrees, from the charcoal grill, temptations and cheese.
The sauce for the squid carbonara is made in the traditional way with organic eggs, cheek bacon, Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper. The innovation comes with replacing pasta with thinly cut ribbons of squid, superb creativity.
With their Tuna Tartar the fresh raw fish has been generously diced and presented in a crispy shallots and horseradish dressing.
Subtly spiced snow fish fillet is accompanied by crisp lettuce hearts, egglant caviar dressed in an elegantly balanced lemon, capers and Chablis wine sauce.

The standout dessert is a light yet rich molten chocolate cake perfectly contrasting with the simplicity of vanilla ice cream.

Their wine list has labels perfectly matching with the food.

Here dinners will discover simple dishes done exceptionally well. It is one of the best examples of quality casual dining in Bangkok.
