Mexican-born and Swiss-educated, Bernardo gained his Bachelors of Arts in Hospitality Marketing from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Bulle, Switzerland.

Prior to joining the team at the award-winning Hotel Muse Bangkok, Bernardo was Director of Food & Beverage at the Holiday Inn Pattaya, and Food & Beverage Manager at Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park. Bernardo also has extensive experience working in prestigious properties in Oman, Qatar, and Vietnam.

With his global experience and passion for innovation within the hospitality industry, Bernardo is the ideal choice for the creative Hotel Muse Bangkok. As the new Director of Food & Beverage he will oversee operations at The Speakeasy, an exclusive Bangkok rooftop bar with a retro aesthetic and a sophisticated vibe, Babette’s – The Steakhouse, an intimate 1920s-style eatery serving the succulent imported steaks against a glittering city backdrop, and the authentic Italian restaurant, Medici Kitchen & Bar, winner of the Thailand Tatler “Best Bangkok Restaurant Award” for two consecutive years.

Bernardo is looking forward to his new challenge at Hotel Muse Bangkok and ensuring guests enjoy unique dining experiences.
