Chachoengsao

Chachoengsao is an old city by the Bang Pakong River, and it is normally called Paet Riu.  The province is not far from Bangkok, so it takes a few hours to get there.

There are 11 districts in Chachoengsao – Muaeng Chachoengsao, Bang Khla, Bang Nam Priao, Bang Pakong, Ban Pho, Phanom Sarakham, Ratchasan, Sanam Chai Khet, Plaeng Yao, Tha Takiap, and Khlong Khuean.

When talking about Chachoengsao, people often think of Luang Phor Sothon – the most important Buddha image of the province.  Moreover, the province is known for mangoes.  In mango seasons, there is a mango festival every year.

Now, many religious places are increasing, and so are the other tourist attractions.
