Cars have always been a passion with Vittawat “Champ” Chinabarramee. It’s a love he inherited from his father Seree, who started Niche Cars Co Ltd, the highly regarded sole authorized dealership for supercars and hypercars in Thailand.
With more than 30 years experience in the high-end supercar market, Niche Cars Co Ltd offers eclectic selection, including Lamborghini – the raging bull from Italy; McLaren and the classic Lotus – the two Formula 1 supercars from the UK, and Pagani and Koeniggsegg – world-class hypercars with their superlative design and high-performance.
Recently, in a bid to reinforce Niche Cars’ success, further enhance local representation, and earn them the number one position in Thailand’s supercar market, Seree invested in a structural overhaul of the business with a new more than 15,000-sqm world-class showroom on Motorway Rama 9. At the same time he appointed his son Champ as his successor, the second-generation to take control of Niche Cars.
Champ spent most of his childhood abroad finishing high school before returning to Thailand for his Bachelor’s degree. Being independent and responsible, self-discipline, decision-making, and adapting to unfamiliar surroundings are some of the important life lessons he learned during his years abroad. It also allowed him to indulge his love for outdoor sports of all kinds such as car racing, jet skiing, go-karting and yachting.
When he initially joined his father’s automotive empire, he not only worked in different departments to acquire on-the-job training, but invested time and effort in visiting the manufacturing plants of various auto-makers to learn first-hand about their products. With his strong and genuine interest in the business, he has personally gone out of his way to acquire any knowledge that could be put to use while he is leading the flourishing Niche Cars.
In his new role as Managing Director, Champ’s vision is to bring the prestigious Niche Cars to the top in every aspect for high-end cars.
