Participating brands include internationally renowned luxury retailers Burberry, Bvlgari, Giuseppe Zanotti, Tory Burch, Vertu, Swiss Watch Gallery, Rolex, and Royal Selangor.

Guests can combine a luxurious stay at the hotel with an unrivalled experience of retail therapy, personal shopping services and gift-with-purchase offers at the Malaysian capital’s two premier malls, Suria KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The city was listed fourth in the world’s top twelve shopping destinations by CNN in 2014 and second among Asia Pacific retail locations in the 2012 Globe Shopper Index compiled by shopping network, Global Blue, and the Economist Intelligence Unit.

“The programme is a response to the tourism ministry’s vision to promote Kuala Lumpur as one of the world’s ideal shopping destinations. We are delighted to offer an increased array of partnerships with some of the city’s finest stores and boutiques, allowing guests to shop in comfort during their stay with us. This initiative is also part of our aim to constantly delight our guests above and beyond their expectations,” said Frank Stocek, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

To use the bespoke service, guests make their request to the concierge who arranges an appointment with the chosen boutique. A personal shopper will meet guests at the hotel for visits to Suria KLCC. For trips to the Pavilion, guests are chauffer-driven to and from the mall where they are met by a personal shopper who escorts them to the boutique.

Guests can have their purchased items delivered to the hotel by the personal shopper. Private viewings can be arranged for guests either at the store or in the comfort of their hotel room. Fees are applicable for private viewings at the store.
