Wat Jadee

Wat Jadee is like an ordinary temple that is the heart of local community. What is special about his temple is “Kai” Kai is believed to be a sprit that guarded the treasure inside the temple. Wat Jadee was a ruin for over 1,000 years and it has just received its renovation in 1957. It is sad that if ones come to take residence over night at the temple, the person must ask or risk getting haunted all night. Today some people still hear a child voice from the temple of seeing a child playing in the temple. There is a wooden figure that was carved by a monk sits in one of the temple residence, and people everyday go and pray for whatever their hart desire. On Songkran day (13-17 of April) there will be a big event for people to make merit.
