Opening day, December 16th, the ‘Captain’s Briefing’ will be held in the meeting room of the SALA Resort followed by VIP guests being whisked away by tenders at the custom built jetty for the ‘Opening Night Cocktail Party’ aboard the amazing and beautiful phinisi-style S/y Dunia Baru.

The next day it’s on to the first day of superyacht racing and this year longtime co-organiser Gordon Fernandes reports: “Guests from the SALA Resort will be accommodated on board yachts so they can view first-hand what’s going on and experience the thrill of watching the incredible spectacle of superyachts racing. Guests will later enjoy the popular ‘Benetti Challenge’ boat building & racing party, with competing superyacht teams, to be held on the lawn between the Renaissance and the SALA resorts. The awe-inspiring ‘Superyacht Parade’ taking place during the 2 days of racing will have the mammoth vessels staging an extraordinary show as they sail and motor into formation on the Bay.
