Many people might have heard about the marvel of Amazing Hill and which is where “a car can astonishingly go up without switching on the engine”. When you reach the spot where there are a sign and a marked line, you put a car into neutral and, instead of going down, your car will amazingly go up. Scientists gave an explanation that it was an illusion because, in reality, the height of the hill was measured that the way up is lower than the way down the hill. In Thailand, there are 5 spots like this Amazing Hill in many tourist attractions; on Na Ngua- Sa Dao Phong Rd (No.2258) at kilometre 17.5, on Tak- Mae Sot Rd at about kilometre marker 68, on the road to Prae Province at about kilometre 49, on Prae- Long Rd in Tambon Baan Phra, Muang District, Prachinburi Province which is close to important attractions, such as Khao Eto Waterfall and Jakapong Reservoir. The last hill is in Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province which is a part of Muak Lek- Wang Muang (Highway No.2089), close to Tree Tunnel. What you need to do at the Amazing Hill is put your car into neutral and turn your hazard lights on before try out the marvel as you wish. To get to the Amazing Hill in Saraburi, drive from the town using Royal Highway No.2 and turn to Royal Highway No.2089.
