Internationally acclaimed Taiwanese restaurant, Din Tai Fung commemorates this year’s Dragon Boat Festival with quintessential festival favourites, the Red Bean Rice Dumpling (豆沙粽) and Rice Dumpling with Flavoured Pork (五香肉粽), as well as premium tea – Aged Puer Tea (陈年普洱).    

Specially air-flown from Taiwan, Din Tai Fung’s unique pillow-shaped, handmade Red Bean Rice Dumpling (豆沙粽is filled with finely-mashed red bean cocooned in soft and chewy glutinous rice. Available all-year round at Din Tai Fung restaurants island-wide at S$5.50 each. 

For a more traditional flavour, Din Tai Fung’s Rice Dumpling with Flavoured Pork (五香肉粽) is thoughtfully prepared with top grade glutinous rice lightly flavoured with premium soya sauce and marinated by hand to avoid damaging the rice grains. Each piece of succulent premium pork belly is sliced with precision, and marinated in 15 types of spices and condiments then skilfully hand-wrapped glutinous rice into a unique pillow shape. Stuffed within tender top grade glutinous rice for a soft and chewy texture, each bite boasts of a flavourful, soft and chewy texture. Available all year round, this all-time favourite rice dumpling is available exclusively at Din Tai Fung restaurants island-wide.
