HORSE POWER – A SNEAK PEAK AT SOME OF THE MOST EXCITING NEW SUPER CARS


Alfa Romeo 4C Spider 

This is a thing of beauty. A spectacular two-seater built on a carbon-fibre chassis and a mid-engine layout that features a 237bhp 1.75-litre engine. New recessed headlights strong lines and a dynamic grille give it a masculine menacing road presence.

Aston Martin Lagonda – The Finest of Fast Cars  

The 1976 original heavily inspires this new stunning limited edition luxury model. Based on the same aluminium VH architecture used by the DB9 and Vanquish, its power source is also the same 565 bhp, 5.9 litre V12 monster. Expect it to be packed with all that is modern, including LED lights, and carbon-fibre body.

Audi TT Roadster

Recently unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, the TT features with a 227bhp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that gets it from 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds. Like the new coupe, it shows off chiseled grille and snappy headlamps. It also comes with

a fully automatic soft top that can be opened and closed in just 10 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT and GTS

A two-seater rival to the Porsche 911 Turbo and the Aston V12 Vantage, these two models, while retaining the luxurious interiors, ups the ante in the performance stakes. Power comes from a bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8, with the standard model churning out 456bhp, while the S model rockets at 503bhp.

Jaguar XF 

Making its debut at the New York Motor Show next year, this second generation rival to BMW 5 series, uses the same chassis components as the new but smaller Jaguar XE model. Power source will also come from the same Ingenium engine line, and it will get comparable styling and upgraded infotainment system.
