Jason began his leadership role at Keemala in October 2018. Within a short time, Jason, alongside an outstanding team well versed in the language of luxury, has already begun to concoct magical culinary journeys and refine touches of nature in the resort’s wellness and holistic offerings, all of which promise to bring guest experiences at Keemala to new heights.
On joining Keemala, Jason said, “I am ecstatic to be leading the Keemala team and to be a part of an iconic resort that has been critical in the transformation of the hospitality industry. Keemala is where creativity, passion, and imagination can come to life, and I am excited by the endless possibilities that lay ahead as Keemala ventures into this next phase.”
Jason has garnered an impressive decade of management experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently General Manager of Silavadee Pool Spa Resort on Koh Samui, Jason has also worked for numerous other distinguished properties including Soneva Gili by Six Senses in the Maldives, and in Thailand at Tubkaak Boutique Resort, Krabi, and Evason Hideaway & Six Senses Spa, Hua Hin.
In addition to his expertise in hotel management and in-depth knowledge of the eco-luxury market and sustainable tourism, Jason also possesses a culinary prowess and ingenuity for curating sumptuous, bespoke experiences that reflect the true ethos of the brand. These particular areas of strength will be key to driving Keemala’s strategic direction as the resort enters its third year of operation.
“I very much look forward to delving into enhancing the bespoke, luxury offerings at Keemala, while maintaining the resort’s outstanding ethos and commitment to the environmental and cultural wellbeing of Phuket destination,” said Jason.
Keemala, which opened in December 2015, is an award-winning, all-pool villa resort ideal for guests and couples looking for a rustic, yet lavishing, retreat from everyday life. The resort recently celebrated its 3rd Anniversary on 1 December 2018.
