Keller Bangkok 2024 Edition – Sathorn, Silom’s Best Restaurant Guide

Keller‘s new location on Chong Nonsi, Chan Kao Rd, is a cozy, casual restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. With 7 counter seats reminiscent of a Japanese Omakase restaurant, guests can watch the chef cook and interact directly with them. Additionally, there are 6 table seats, perfect for small groups looking for a private dining experience with friends after a long day at work.

Chef Mirco Keller is recognized as one of Bangkok’s pioneering chefs, having been in the spotlight for decades. Known for his signature dishes that long-time fans adore, his new edition masterfully combines traditional and modern European cuisine. By using premium local and Japanese ingredients, each meal is truly exceptional and contributes to a fantastic culinary journey.

As many people say, a happy chef creates happy meals, bringing joy to their clients. Chef Mirco Keller embodies this philosophy, stating, “For me, cooking is never a competition. I cook so that I can delight people and connect with them. At the end of the day, I just want to be thought of as a good cook.”

His sincerity shines through in every dish he creates. With an open-minded attitude and a willingness to learn from new cultures, Chef Keller has immersed himself in Thailand’s culinary landscape. He has developed a deep understanding of the intense flavors that Thai people love, seamlessly reinventing Asian flavors with the European techniques he has mastered over 27 years. His dedication and passion are evident, making each dining experience truly special.

With a menu that changes every few weeks, you will be impressed by the carefully crafted dishes. Each one respects the noble ingredients and combines flavors in ways that will surprise and delight you. Whether you fancy a juicy Wagyu beef, a tasty abalone, or exquisite Amadai fish, you will enjoy the finesse of the aromas and flavors.

Personally, I find Keller’s 2024 edition more relaxed, friendly, and easygoing. Despite this laid-back atmosphere, the restaurant maintains high standards in flavor, classic cooking techniques, and innovative dishes that meet diners’ high expectations. We loved the interaction with the chef and the show element of having the meal prepared right in front of us.

A real “coup de coeur” for this new edition and two thumbs up for Mirco & his team !
