MARCUS LOW, REGIONAL MARKETING MANAGER – WGS


Marcus joined William Grant & Sons (WGS) in 2012 and is head of the Marketing Services division for the region. He is in charge of developing the go-to-market strategy for the luxury spirits company’s portfolio of premium brands including the world’s favourite single malt Glenfiddich, the handcrafted range of The Balvenie single malts and Grant’s blended whisky, as well as selected other premium spirits, including Hendrick’s Gin, Sailor Jerry, Tullamore Dew, Monkey Shoulder and Reyka Vodka.

As Asia’s representative of the WGS Global On-Trade Leadership Team, Marcus leverages the experience and lessons from across global markets, bringing best and novel practices back to Asia so as to consistently deliver engaging and effective campaigns to audiences here.

No stranger to the spirits industry, Marcus worked with Bacardi-Martini Asia Pacific Limited for some time where he executed in-market experiential marketing campaigns including the inaugural Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition in Vietnam, which entered the Vietnam Guinness Book of Records for the longest serving bar. During this time, he was also concurrently assisting the Director, Re-Export for the day-to-day management of the re-export business.

Well-versed in the spirits industry, he regularly attends workshops and courses and has most recently achieved Whisky course certification from institutions like the Moray College, in association with Gordon & MacPhail.

A graduate of the Nanyang Technological University, Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Honours Degree with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
