Review Ocken Restaurant In Sathorn

OCKEN -A top notch new dining experience with fun hosts in Sathorn. Discover a crowd of fun, young, local thais and expats with couples, group of friends….in a vibrant and chic casual settings.

Story & Photos by Mr. & Mrs. Tardivel

The food is inspired by owner’s memories, travel experiences and cultures, both near and afar. A casual chic dining experience with every plate full of flavors, stories and delights for the eyes and palate.

From the same F&B family that has created ROAST, ROOTS and LITTLE PEA CAFE, Ocken Sathorn offers a new restaurant concept in the heart of Sathon a few steps from BTS surasak. Going through the menu with the knowledgeable team and owner,  all created dishes have a different story and influenced by US, Mexican, Korean, Italian, French and Spanish elements.

Importance is given to using sustainable products, rotate the menu items according to local market availability and quality rather than quantity….we liked a cleverly designed number of starters, main courses and deserts. Many of the ingredients are home made and other imported or locally hand picked products are carefully selected to ensure a constant premium quality. Flavored creamy butters, freshly baked breads and healthy pressed fruit juices.

The menu is an invitation to sample different combinations of bites and main courses, paired with a great selection of crafted unusual cocktails or new world wines. Open kitchen as the heart of the place, visuals and action at all times, where you can how each dish is carefully plated, designed before being brought to your table.

The culinary team is led by head chefs Johnny and Pim. They have designed the menu to take diners on a journey, which is guided by numbers, so you can indulge in the full experience as you work your way up from One (small bites) through to Five (desserts). The menu is fluid and ever changing, so do keep an eye out for new additions and special dishes.
