Crowning the top of trendy Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, Octave beautifully lights up the night at a sky-high level. This rooftop bar comes with multi-storey fun to satisfy everyone, whether you are in need of scrumptious grubs or if you want to touch the cloud up high while dancing.

What makes Octave so incredibly attractive to metropolis people is its unbeatable 360° view of bustling Bangkok getting glittery, and the music they play really triggers an urge to sway your head along. A very wide array of drinks are served for the best elevated experience of everyone whether you are a craft beer buff, wine aficionado, a cocktail connoisseur, or just like some fine whiskey on ice.
The Drinks
We are lucky to try this year’s new recipes of refreshing booze, inspired by the characters of Thailand’s charismatic landmarks, turning the intangible charms into dashing drinkables. Vodka-based Coconut Island resembles Piña Colada’s classic tastes gently perked up with vanilla scent and mango’s juiciness.
Chiang Rai is where citrusy sourness and blooms collide, led by genial jasmine, and the topped egg yolk finely conciliate this collision course. If you are looking for the most invigorating one, ask for Lamai Beach glass of gin mixed with blue Curacao, yuzu, lychee, honey and peach to quench your beachy thirst, or try another gin-based Pak Khlong with watermelon-ish juiciness. Khao San and Phuket are strong in its flavours and characters, suitable for those who prefer rather masculine drinks. (Each aforementioned drink is priced at THB 390)
Guest’s Choice
Our lovely guest Khun Juthapat Bundaipetch, Co-Founder of Olive Creative Laboratory, is a huge fan of gin, so her best pick is undoubtedly Lamai, as she found it an ideal glass to get instantly refreshed, or for those who are not use to Bangkok’s heat. She also likes Pak Khlong, which she finds it an easy yet tasty glass to gradually enjoy the night with.
The Dishes
Comfort dishes that get along well with the comfy night are warmly served on the 45th floor. The menu is well-thought-out for everyone, no matter if you crave for Thai tastes or for Western touches.
The signature Chilled Box (THB 1,550), containing fresh sashimi, chilled prawns, oysters, and avocado rolls, is a terrific idea to have along with the cooling drinks.
