The best of Singapore’s burgeoning cocktail scene will be assembling at Tippling Club for a night of cocktails and camaraderie, bringing together budding bartenders from the city’s top bars – namely 28 HongKong Street, Employees Only Singapore, Gibson, Manhattan and Operation Dagger.
Following the highly successful Once Upon a Time format, Tippling Club’s Head Bartender Joe Schofield will tee things off with a round of sonic-aged Negronis, while the kitchen rolls out a succession of small plates throughout the evening for all your nibbling needs.
The evening forges ahead as Aki Eguchi of vintage-styled Gibson elaborates on the classic Ramos Gin Fizz with a modernist take on the New Orleans classic; while Juan Yijun of Operation Dagger pays tribute to Chef-Owner Ryan Clift’s iconic Vegetable Garden dish. Shaking up a spiced apple cider concoction for the occasion is 28 HongKong Street’s Joma Rivera; Employees Only Singapore’s Bai Jiawei throws in the ring their signature Gimlet, spirited with navy strength gin; and Manhattan’s man of the hour, Philip Bischoff, pays homage to the notorious Irish-American “Mad Dog” mobsters with a nostalgic nod to the fiery mafia mayhem back in the day.
