Phra Tad Bangpuan

This old Phrathat Bang Phun pagoda is 34 meters high and is where the holy Buddhist relics are located. The temple was under the major renovation in 1976 as the original is fired and the bricks collapsed. Until now, the old pagoda is still exist altogether with the temple boundary markers, ancient stone inscription and there’s also an ancient pool which the water was once used in to bless the old city’s lords. Opening hours: Daily from 8.00-17.00Getting there: Phrathat Bang Phuan is located Ban Don Mu, 11 kilometers from the town on the Nong-Khai-Udon Thani Road. Take right on Highway No. 211 to Tha Bo for another 10 kilometers.
