We captured a wonderful weekend lunch experience with Chef Marc at Jaja French Bistrot, Suan Plu Soi 2.
It is a newly opened bistro-style French restaurant inspired by Chef Marc’s grandmother, Jaja, who ignited his passion for cooking.

Chef Marc has crafted a menu that reflects his culinary journey. We loved the casual settings and convivial ambiance.
The menu is simple and offers inviting bold flavors with traditional recipes, comfort and affordability in every delightful dish, especially considering the high-quality ingredients and the expertise of Chef Marc.
An easy-going menu selection, perfect for a bistro lunch or dinner… sample the delectable Marc’s Boeuf Bourguignon with tagliatelle (paired with Cote du Rhone red wine) or the tantalizing Beef Tataki Mosaic (you’ll love the chipotle mayonnaise and nori). Keep some room for dessert: the Banoffee is simply amazing! Rich chocolate and banana crémeux, brownie, pecan nut mousse, caramel ice cream, and salted caramel sauce.
Chef Marc’s gourmet adventures began in Europe, where he honed his skills in esteemed eateries. His tenure at Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London contributed to its worldwide recognition and coveted Michelin stars. In Asia, Chef Marc held pivotal roles in renowned establishments, including Restaurant COTE by Mauro Colagreco and Alpea Bistrot in Bangkok, showcasing his leadership and culinary prowess.

This is a restaurant we will definitely return to. We love the menu here; it is simple and offers great value for money, with bold flavors and traditional recipes.
