Review: Terrazza Italian Restaurant: Pathumwan Princess Hotel


Great promotion with 40% disc for all a la carte menu. The restaurant is located on 8th fl of Pathumwan Princess Hotel, adjacent to MBK shopping mall. The most  convenient BTS line, get off at the National Stadium station and walk through the air-conditioned department store to the hotel.

The hidden restaurant offers both al fresco and indoor, air-conditioned, dining options, high above Bangkok’s busy hustle and bustle streets.

We came here over lunch time, so chose to sit in the air-conditioned while overlooking the hotel’s swimming pool where you can also enjoy the afternoon breeze with some of Terrazza’s drinks. Great quiet spot to chill and enjoy Italian classics.

The restaurant is also launching “Unicorn Splash” a colorful, distinctive Signature Mocktail that is a “must-try” for THB 140 nett, and in the early evening, selected drinks including wine, can be enjoyed for THB 150 nett.

If you like to enjoy viewing and tasting the creative drinks, the bartender serves beautiful drinks at your table, should try it out.

Featuring great casual settings, the restaurant is surrounded by a  beautiful garden around the hotel’s swimming pool. Feeling like going to a resort in the countryside, and so relaxed. Unpretentious place but so well executed, let the chef ” Gio” share his positive vibes and suggest some of his favs!

Parma Ham and Melon – Fresh melon from Japan, sweet and juicy.  Classic, simple starter but always works wherever we go, we like to order this dish together with Italian wine.

The rest of the menu overalls will fit all buds and a various choice of seafood & meat courses, traditional pizzas and pastas as well as appetizers and soups. Great value for the money with the current promotions, this is a perfect option for families week end brunch or a quick mid week lunch if you are craving for some Italian classics.  

Crab and fresh Avocado Salad with lemon and garlic dressing. 


Chef Giordano Rossini (Chef “Gio”) and his talented culinary team showcases traditional Italian favorites infused with a touch of tantalizing, local flavors.

If you love fish, check out their seabass fillet with vegetabes in lemon butter sauce, presented in a large folded paper. For meat lovers, Chef has prepared also some US beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon and gravy sauce or Kurobuta Pork Chops served with cauliflower and brocoli. 

Spaghetti River Prawns, or Fettuccine Prawns with Cream Sauce, Black Tagliolini with Crab Meat and Scallops are highly recommended.

Today we ordered a classic margarita, but lots of other options to choose like Parma Ham and rocket. If you want to explore other flavors, try a Chef Gio’s creative pizzas with local favorite Ka Prao Prawn Pizza making its debut, it comes with Fried Shrimp, Crispy basil and more!

Mushroom Risotto and Truffle cream. Love the dish! Creamy and generous portion. Italian rice with sauted porcini mushrooms in wine, butter, truffle paste…a great savory and flavorful main course ! 

Chocolate Lava cake with Passionfruit Sorbet and classic Taramisu.
