Le Du Restaurant Bangkok, Chef TonIt’s all about sustainability, using only the best quality ingredients he can find. He was once incorrectly recognised as a French restaurant because of his technique and plating style. He is 100 percent a Thai chef.

His biggest concern about sustainability is that other chef’s will compromise on price but not him. He passionately believes, “local sustainable products taste better and if sourced carefully don’t affect the bottom line.” He treats his team with the same respect he does with his ingredients and wishes that other chefs could do the same. Suhring Bangkok Sathorn New Restaurant


The twin German Chefs Thomas and Mathias Shuring have re-defined German food. Traditional cooking methods like pickling and smoking are combined with modern gastronomic methods. The result a pork knuckle sandwich glazed with a Riesling sauerkraut and sous-vide Simental beef finished on a charcoal grill.

Kai New Zealand Sathorn Bangkok

Kai New Zealand 

Kai is the Maori word for food. The restaurant serves modern New Zealand cuisine focusing the countries sea food, steaks and lamb quality comfort food. The décor is industrial bare concrete floors, wood pannelling and metal pipe shelving. It’s  not surprising but this is one of the best places in Bangkok to enjoy nice New Zealand Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc

Lady Brett Tavern

Chef Man 

Currently one of the most popular Cantonese restaurants in Bangkok, serving authentic cuisine, provincial specialties, a creative dim sum menu with a  premium tea collection under the watchful eye of Chinese native, Master Chef Wai Yin Man. Unquestionably the best Peking Duck in Bangkok, the crisp skin is skilfully removed as if it were a shirt.

Supanniga Eating Room

After first opening over three years ago in Thonglor, now this Sathorn neighbourhood has the contemporary Thai restaurant that it has been longing for. Recipes span from Trat to Khon Khaen with the Eastern Seaboard contributing it’s seafood and the Northeast Thai staples such as Penang and Massaman curries. This is delicate Thai food with nostalgic flavours.

This is a great place to enjoy fantastic seafood, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. It’s all due to the passion of owner, seafood importer Bill Marinell who meticulouslousiy hand picks every shell. The oysters are imported twice weekly from Canada and The States. Served on a bed of crushed ice with a slice of lemon and vinaigrettes, wonderfully fresh checked a la minute.,
