Bangkok’s Best Restaurants & Bars In Silom – Saladaeng
Silom often gets a bad reputation for being one of the main red light districts of Bangkok, but there’s actually a lot more in this area than meets the eye. However, that’s not even the grandest property on this street. Who can forget the scene from “The Hangover” movie that was shot on the lavish rooftop of Sirocco, Lebua at State Tower? Besides hoteliers, several successful restaurateurs have been making their mark on Silom with the latest one being the creation of renowned chef Ian Kittichai, Namsah Bottling Trust.
If you’re into “shows” but not the type being offered in the sketchy Patpong alley, then head over to Maggie Choo’s where Chinese-looking girls put on a performance each night. Sometimes it involves nothing more than looking pretty on a swing, but it’s still one of the more interesting bars in town. Live music from a handful of unique talents also thrives at Maggie Choo’s.
