Many biggest provinces in Thailand by size are in the north-eastern part of Thailand and Udon Thani is one of them. Udon Thani has 18 districts and 2 sub districts; Mueang Udon Thani,
Nong Wua So, Nong Han, Ban Phue, Ban Dung, Kumphawapi, Non Sa-at, Phan, Nam Som, Kut Chap, So That, Wnag Sam Mor, Thung Fon,  Sang Khom, Chai Wan, Nong Sang, Na Yung, Phibun Rak, Kukaew sub district, and Prachaksinlapakhom sub district.
